Homily from Aug. 28, 2022: Solemnity of St. Augustine

Today at St. Augustine Parish in Saskatoon we were blessed to celebrate our patron saint! It was a beautiful celebration as we joined St. Augustine and all of heaven in the worship of God. Here is my homily from that Mass. As a result, the readings were different than they would be for the usual Sunday (as per CCCB Ordo, no. 24f). They were: First: Isaiah 6.1-8 Psalm: Psalm 40 Second: 1 John 4.7-16 Gospel: Matthew 23.8-12
