Homily from Mar. 4, 2018 (Year B): What’s Your Passion?

Here is my homily from Mar. 4, 2018. This was for the 3rd Sunday of Lent, using the regular, Year B readings.

(Another homily was given for the 10am Mass, using different readings for the scrutinies. The scrutinies are special rites done during Mass as part of the journey for those being baptized at Easter, and they will continue for the 4th and 5th Sundays of Lent. You can listen to the scrutinies homily by clicking here.)

Readings: Exodus 20.1-17; Psalm 19; 1 Corinthians 1.18,22-25; John 2.13-25 (See the readings at usccb.org.)

We’d love to have you at Mass! Mass times at Holy Spirit Parish are: Saturday, 5pm; Sunday, 10am, 12 noon, and 7pm.
